The Nike Air Max Penny 1 “Home” is the 2022 reissue of Anfernee “Penny” Hardaway’s first signature basketball shoe. Along with the Air Max Penny 1’s original “Orlando” or “Road” colorway, the “Home” makeup of the retro basketball shoe was originally worn by Penny with the Orlando Magic during the 1995-96 NBA season. The modern “Home” colorway from 2022 is nearly identical to the original version Penny wore in the NBA. This “Home” Air Max Penny 1 was never re-released until in 2022. The upper features a white leather construction with a contrasting jeweled blue Swoosh on either side. Penny’s signature “1-Cent” branding is found on the heel, and royal blue jewel Swooshes lay within the lateral side wings. A visible Air unit appears in the heel of the midsole to complete the celebrated sneaker. Release date: August 31, 2022
