Description
The Nike Air Max Pre-Day “Light Bone” is a modern silhouette by Nike that combines futuristic and retro-inspired details. The Air Max Pre-Day borrows its name from the late Steve Prefontaine, a long distance runner sponsored by Nike in the 1970s. Informed by classic Nike running shoes like the Waffle Racer as well as modern designs, the Air Max Pre-Day in “Light Bone” features a Sail-colored base with beige suede panels on the toe, forefoot, and heel. A black synthetic Swoosh appears on either side of the shoe. The eyelets are designed in light grey suede. Yellow exposed foam padding appears on the sides of the vintage-inspired cream-colored nylon tongue. A visible Max Air unit in the heel of the white EVA foam midsole cuts a strikingly modern look. The thin black rubber outsole is rounded on the heel.
