The Nike Air More Uptempo “Split” is a colorway that celebrates the career of Scottie Pippen, the Basketball Hall of Famer who memorably wore the basketball shoe with the Chicago Bulls in 1996. The “Split” features a mismatched design that salutes the two basketball teams Pippen played for in ‘96 while wearing the Air More Uptempo: the Bulls and the Dream Team 2 that competed at the ‘96 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, GA. The black synthetic nubuck upper is contrasted with red “AIR” branding on the lateral side and blue “AIR” branding on the medial side. The dual colors represented the Bulls and the ‘96 Dream Team, respectively. A jeweled Metallic Silver Swoosh is found on the heel and a white Swoosh is embroidered on the forefoot. Classic “Pippen” branding is located on the heel beneath the pull tab. Full-length visible Air cushioning technology appears in the midsole. Release date: March 4, 2022
