Description
The Nike Dunk High 1985 “Black Acid Wash” is a modern interpretation of the old school basketball shoe that mimics the model’s original shape and look. The “Black Acid Wash” joins the “Red Acid Wash” and Undercover’s collaborative Dunk High 1985 in bringing back the shoe’s original style cadence that includes a modified ankle collar amid other vintage-appointed details. The perforated toe, mid-panel, collar, and heel appear in cream leather. Panels on the forefoot, eyelets, collar, and heel are displayed in black acid wash. A black leather Swoosh contrasts the look on both sides. The Dunk High 1985’s tongue is noticeably taller than the tongue found on more recent editions of the Dunk. Additional design elements include a Nike logo tongue tag, black laces, and a cream nylon tongue. A yellow painted midsole replicates the look of oxidation, which occurs over time on older, vintage sneakers. Release date: August 28, 2021
