The Nike Dunk Low “Siempre Família” is a February 2022 release of the vintage basketball shoe in a colorway that honors the traditional Mexican holiday. The “Siempre Familia” Dunk is inspired by Mictlán, the underworld of Aztec mythology that spans nine levels. Details include animal-inspired graphics and prints that reference those that usher one into the afterlife. The upper features a green reptilian textile finish with textured overlays and a multicolor Swoosh. The “Nike” logo on the heel is designed in a multicolor look inspired by “Dia de los Muertos.” The translucent tongue features red “Nike” and Swoosh branding and white laces contrast the look of the blue tongue.
