The Undercover x Sacai x Nike LDWaffle "Midnight Spruce/University Red" is another colorway of the fusion lifestyle shoe designed by the Japanese streetwear brand, Chitose Abe’s high-fashion outfit, and Nike. The “Midnight Spruce/University Red” is an October 2021 colorway that joins the “Night Maroon” and other popular designs in uniting Undercover, Sacai, and Nike on the shoe that combines elements of Nike’s vintage LDV and Waffle Racer performance runners. The base is constructed in Midnight Spruce nylon. Grey and University Red Swooshes, in suede and leather, respectively, are layered over one another on the mid-panel. The stacked look is consistent with the trio’s previous collaborations on the LDWaffle and Sacai and Nike’s many collections. Grey and black layered eyelets and heel overlays continue the shoe’s unique appearance. From there, University Red and white laces appear over the double nylon tongues.
