The Women’s Nike Air Max 97 “Multicolor” is a women’s exclusive colorway of the late retro performance and lifestyle shoe. Nike reintroduced the late ‘90s model to the modern sneaker audience for the Air Max 97’s 20-year-anniversary in 2017. The original “Silver Bullet” colorway, along with various collaborations from the likes of Undefeated, Off-White, and more, all greatly contribute to the design’s ensuing rise in popularity. Here, Nike places a rainbow-like assortment of purple, orange, royal blue, and light blue wavy leather panels atop a black mesh base. A small silver Swoosh logo can be found on the middle of the black leather heel-to-toe mudguard. Black speckled rope laces are layered over the black mesh tongue. “Air Max” branding on the pull tab on the heel gives the shoe an infusion of retro appeal. A green-tinted full-length visible Air unit in the midsole completes the look.
