This canvas model served as a follow-up to Abloh’s first Converse collaboration that was part of the "The Ten" collection. While the all-white canvas upper of the Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star 70s Hi Off-White draws similarities to classic non-collaborative colorways, there are many points of differentiation. To start, the black and white caution tape-themed midsole nods to one of Off-White’s key design motifs. Next, "Off-White™ for CONVERSE ‘CHUCK TAYLOR ALL-STAR’ Malden, Massachusetts USA c. 1917" is screen printed on the inside medial panel of the upper. To round out this Off-White Chuck Taylor, a modified star patch appears on the ankle and a signature orange zip-tie is hooked to the laces.
