To celebrate 15 years of business, Boston-based boutique Bodega collaborated with New Balance on the 990v3. The two brands are no strangers to working together, and their last collaborative effort was on the 997S in 2020. The New Balance 990v3 Bodega Here To Stay was inspired by the idea of preservation and people’s need to be remembered. Neutral tones make up the majority of the sneaker, with a cream ENCAP midsole and brown suede and beige leather overlays. Bodega’s logo is printed in bright crimson on the heel tab, while "2006" and "2021" are embroidered on the heel cap to commemorate the store’s 15-year anniversary.
