The Nike PG 1 Shining Pre-Heat is a re-release of the first basketball shoe NBA star Paul George created with Nike. The Pre-Heat Shining iteration of the Nike PG-1 sports a black mesh upper with black leather overlays. An iridescent Nike Swoosh in a silvery rainbow color appears on the side panel of the lateral side. A backwards Swoosh appears on the collar on the medial side, and an iridescent multicolor pattern also appears on the upper eyestays and the heel tab. The black tongue features the Paul George logo, and the embossed black-on-black "13" on the heel refers to Paul George’s number – as well as his nickname, PG-13. Designed by George himself, the strap on the forefoot provides stability and support. The insoles are bright yellow, the midsole with Air cushioning is black, and the rubber outsole is translucent silvery blue.
