FABRIC RESEARCH AND TREATMENT Polypropylene is one of the lightest fibers in existence, thanks in part to its hollow structure. Even very bulky garments made with this material are surprisingly light. Short parka made from an ultralight 7oz denim tela woven with a 3/1 twill weave composed of indigo-dyed cotton yarn and polypropylene yarn. The result is a denim with a traditional appearance, but significantly lighter in weight. The finished garment is rinsed. Lining with vertical quilting and padding. STYLE AND FIT Detachable hood with visor and large chin strap with hook-and-loop fastening; attaches to garment with buttons. At mid torso, slanted pockets with two snaps under fixed flap. Puffed patch hand pockets with concealed zipper. Inner chest pocket with button and Compass logo embroidery. Inner drawcord at waist. Stone Island Denim Research badge with metal buttons on left sleeve. Tightening strap at cuffs with snap. All-over contrast stitching. Two-way zipper fastening concealed under button placket.
