FABRIC RESEARCH AND TREATMENT Anorak in natural cotton gabardine. Washed. The Stone Island Raw Beauty project reuses cotton material scraps from the Stone Island production chain. The scraps selected in the production plants are reprocessed to obtain new blended yarns, containing at least 50% recovered material. The fabrics derived from this elaborate recovery and regeneration process are used for new garments. This garment is made from 60% recycled cotton and 40% conventional cotton. The unbleached fabric features some aesthetic impurities that are typical of raw cotton and should be considered an intrinsic and natural part of the material. Detachable hood lining in cotton canvas and cotton jersey. STYLE AND FIT Hood with cotton tape drawstring that can be fastened with snaps. Chin strap that can also be fastened back onto hood with buttonhole detail inspired by debossed rubber patches of archival Stone Island garments from the 1980s. Three-button neck fastening.
