UNDERCOVER releases a photobook “RECORD.“, a collection of photos of the preparation and backstage scenes of UNDERCOVER runway shows documented and titled by Paris based photographer, WATARU. It is the third behind-the-scenes photo book published by UNDERCOVER following Yoshie Tominaga’s “the Shepherd” (2008) and Taro Mizutani’s “Chaos/Balance” (2017). [About the Author] WATARU is a photographer who was born in Tokyo in 1969. He moved to Paris in 1991 and started working as a hair stylist there and in New York, then later made a career change to photography. In 2004, he moved back to Tokyo and worked with fashion magazines, musicians, and advertisers for 10 years.
